AlamaYangu Initiative Tanzania (AITA), Officially registered in 2021, AITA operates from its headquarters in Ubungo Municipality, Dar es Salaam with sub office in Iringa Region, complementing government efforts to address community development challenges and foster resilience.
The capacity-building session with media journalists provided a dynamic and interactive platform, fostering an engaging environment where journalists gained in-depth knowledge and valuable insights into the REST Project’s mission, objectives, and overall impact. These sessions went beyond traditional training by emphasizing the crucial role of the media in shaping public discourse on reproductive health and gender equity.
Journalists were equipped with the tools and understanding necessary to effectively advocate for these important issues, empowering them to craft and communicate compelling, impactful narratives that resonate with the public. By strengthening their ability to inform and influence, these sessions reinforced the media’s capacity to drive positive social change and promote awareness around the project’s core goals.
